Designers should code

Implementation details are design details. Closing the gap changes both the work and the conversation.

The premise

The traditional handoff asks one person to define an experience and another to reconstruct its intent. That gap is expensive.

The decision

Coding does not replace engineering expertise. It lets designers test structure, behaviour and responsive decisions in the medium where the product will exist.

The standard

The useful standard is not 'every designer becomes an engineer.' It is that designers stay close enough to implementation to remain accountable for the result.

Looking for a designer who owns the problem, not just the deliverable.

Available for full-time roles in product-led teams where experimentation drives decisions.
